  • Bug or Feature(?): Because there is a random element in the auto-battler, where the captian decides to they do not care about stats, ZugTug may not be able to correctly tell who will a TOC battle

Battle System:

Is is an auto-battler. Each team has 7 members, and each of these 7 members competes against the respective member from the other team in the same position.

Each Skremplet has three status values: agility, intelligence, and strength. In addition, each Skremplet has a status focus:

Keener: Strength,

Gretchen: Intelligence

Dundle: Strength

Orchk: Agility

Foozloo: Agility

Zugtug: Agility

Pastoriche: Strength

Ms Cherry: Intelligence

The following applies: Agility > Strength > Intelligence > Agility

Status values can also be influenced by cards and the environment. It is therefore important to always keep an eye on the status values.

Some fields also influence Skremplets with a specific status focus.

In addition, each Skremplet has a special ability that can bring further advantages or disadvantages in battle:

Keener: Keeners don't want to stand next to each other, but two Keeners on the same team give each other a strength boost.

Gretchen: Everyone on the same team standing in front of them becomes frightened (-2 intelligence), unless they are a “Gretchen” themselves. Every team member who frightens Gretchen gives them a boost of 2 intelligence.

Dundle: If there is still an apple on the field nearby (in the movement-radius): -3 strength, otherwise +3 strength.

Orchk: Sings too loudly for those right next to them (-1 agility); everyone else becomes motivated (+1 agility).

Foozloo: Next to a tree: +4 agility; next to a dead tree: -4 agility.

The captain of a team also gives bonuses to all other members based on their own status focus.

If the captain's focus beats that of the others, they ignore the rules and randomly distributes status buffs to their team members.

Unlocking the DSD-sweater:

ZugTug will give the DSD-sweater to you, after you have spend enough "trash"-money on them telling you who will win a TOC battle, so that they can payback their debts. After that, you will not have to pay ZugTug anymore.

Cheats:

If you want to enjoy the story and experience all of the endings (which are admittedly short), you can use the following cheat codes:

  • Press K to instantly win a level
  • Press L to instantly lose a level
  • Press Esc to restart the game
